Before you book, ask.
Four questions that tell you a lot about a detailer. A good one will answer them plainly.
- What exactly is in this package?Ask what is cleaned inside and out, what costs extra (pet hair, stains, odor) and the price for your vehicle size, in writing.
- Are you insured for damage to my vehicle?Ask for the certificate of insurance and whether it covers customers’ vehicles in their care, not only general liability.
- Do you bring your own water and power? Many mobile detailers do. If not, you may need to provide an outdoor tap and an outlet.
- For a coating or film: who backs the warranty?Ask which product, whether the installer is certified by its maker, and what upkeep keeps the warranty valid.
