CORRECTIONS

Spotted a mistake?
Tell us.

We want every detail on Detailer Atlas to match what the business itself publishes. When something is wrong or out of date, we fix it. Corrections are free, and you don’t need to be the business owner to send one.

How to send a correction.

Please don’t send passwords, private status links or personal documents.

What happens next.

A person reviews every request before anything changes; sending the form does not edit a listing by itself. We check the suggested change against the business’s own website, the same way we check every listing (see how we check). If the source confirms it, we update the listing and its check date. If we can’t confirm it, we leave the listing as it is or remove the detail that can no longer be supported: we don’t publish a fact without a source, even from a correction.

Requests about a photo you own or appear in are handled within 2 business days, as stated on every listing with photos. If you used the form, your private status link shows the request’s progress.

Owners.

Business owners can claim their listing for free to keep their packages, prices and insurance details current. Ownership is confirmed through a business contact that was published before the request.

Closed or moved businesses.

If a business has closed, stopped serving Tampa Bay or no longer details vehicles, tell us. Once we confirm it, the listing is taken down.

Mistakes we find ourselves.

Our weekly source checks and research rounds catch many changes before anyone reports them. Those are corrected the same way: against the business’s own source, with a new check date on the listing.
